The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has announced the release of admit cards for the Combined Civil Services Examination – II (Group II and IIA Services) 2025. Candidates interested in appearing for this examination can access their hall tickets by visiting the official website at tnpsc.gov.in.
According to the notification issued by the Commission, the examination is scheduled to take place on September 28. The exam will be conducted from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm, providing candidates a three-hour window to complete their assessments. The examination will consist of 200 questions, with a total score of 300 marks. To pass, candidates must secure a minimum of 90 qualifying marks.
The TNPSC aims to fill a total of 645 vacancies through this recruitment process. This opportunity is significant for those seeking employment in various state government positions, as the Group II services encompass a wide range of roles.
To download the admit card, candidates need to navigate to the homepage of the TNPSC website, where they will find a dedicated link for the Group 2 admit card. Upon clicking this link, candidates will be prompted to enter their details and log in to the portal. Once logged in, they can view, download, and print their admit card for future reference. It is advisable for candidates to have a hard copy of the admit card with them on the day of the examination.
For the recruitment process, candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in two stages: the Preliminary and Mains examinations. However, for the post of Forester, the selection process is slightly different. Candidates applying for this position will undergo three successive stages, which include the Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and an Endurance Test. This structured approach ensures that candidates are evaluated comprehensively across various competencies.
As the examination date approaches, candidates are encouraged to stay updated with any further announcements or changes that may be made by the TNPSC. For additional details regarding the examination, the syllabus, and other relevant information, candidates can refer to the official TNPSC website.
