BSSC Extends Registration Deadline for Various Posts, Offers Over 5200 Vacancies

The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has announced a postponement of the registration deadline for several recruitment exams, including the 4th Graduate Level Combined Competitive Exam (Advt. No. 05/25) and the Office Attendant/ Attendant (Special) Combined Competitive Exam (Advt. No. 06/2025). This decision allows eligible candidates an extended period to apply for the available positions.

Candidates can register for these posts on the official BSSC website at bssc.bihar.gov.in until October 14, 2025. The last date for the submission of application forms is set for October 16, 2025. This recruitment initiative aims to fill a total of 5208 vacancies, which include 3727 positions for Office Attendant/ Attendant roles and 1481 positions for the Graduate Level Combined Competitive Exam.

For candidates applying from the unreserved category, as well as male applicants from the OBC and EBC categories, a registration fee of Rs 540 is required. In contrast, candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories from Bihar, along with persons with disabilities (PWD) and female candidates, are required to pay a reduced fee of Rs 135.
