Registration for JKPSC CCE Prelims 2025 extended to September 30; correction window opens soon.
The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has officially announced the postponement of the application deadline for the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2025. Applicants now have until September 30, 2025, to complete their registration on the official website, jkpsc.nic.in. This extension comes as a relief for many candidates who may have been preparing their applications.
Previously, the cutoff date was set for September 24, 2025. The decision to extend the deadline provides additional time for prospective candidates to finalize their applications, ensuring that they meet all requirements before submission.
Following the registration period, an application correction window will be available from October 1 to October 3, 2025. This phase allows candidates to make necessary adjustments to their submitted applications, which is crucial for ensuring that all information is accurate and up to date.
The recruitment initiative aims to fill a total of 80 vacancies across various positions. To be eligible to apply, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. This educational requirement is essential for ensuring that applicants have the foundational knowledge necessary for the roles they are vying for.
For candidates belonging to general categories, the application fee is set at Rs 1200, while those from reserved categories are required to pay a reduced fee of Rs 700. This fee structure is designed to make the application process accessible to a wider range of applicants.
To register, candidates should navigate to the homepage of the JKPSC website, click on the Login tab, and follow the instructions to create an account. After registering, applicants can fill out the necessary forms, pay the applicable fees, and submit their applications. It is advisable to print a copy of the submitted form for future reference, as this will be useful during the recruitment process.
The selection of candidates will be based on several assessments, including the Preliminary exam, the Mains exam, and a Personality Test (Interview). Each of these stages is designed to evaluate the candidates’ suitability for the positions being filled. For further details and updates regarding the examination and application process, candidates are encouraged to regularly check the official JKPSC website.
