For those who have already applied, a correction window will be available from October 6 to October 8, 2025, allowing applicants to amend any errors in their submitted forms. The examination itself is scheduled to take place on November 16, 2025. It will consist of two papers: Paper I will run from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by Paper II from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Eligibility criteria for applicants include a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum age limit of 32 years as of July 1, 2025. However, the upper age limit is subject to relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved categories, in accordance with government regulations. To qualify for the posts, applicants must hold either a National Trade Certificate or a National Apprenticeship Certificate awarded by the National Council for Training and Vocational Trade. This qualification should be in one of the specified trades: Electrician, Wireman, or Electrical Trade under the Centre of Excellence Scheme.

As part of the application process, candidates are required to pay an examination fee of Rs 100 at the time of submitting their online application. Exemptions from this fee may apply under certain conditions. The application process entails several steps: candidates must first click on the CTS (ITI Level) – II application link on the homepage of the TNPSC website, register themselves, and proceed with filling out the application form. After completing the form, the fee must be paid, and the application submitted. It is advisable for applicants to print a copy of their submitted form for future reference.

For those who have not yet applied, this is the final opportunity to secure a position within the TNPSC’s Combined Technical Services Examination for the year 2025.
