In a subsequent scene, another group is seen urging the woman to reveal the contents of her hand, which reportedly contained a roll of ₹500 notes. Although the woman denied receiving any money, she admitted to requesting ₹5,000 for her medical expenses, raising further questions about the context and intent behind the alleged transaction.

The incident reportedly occurred in Theruvakkurishi, located in the Kannadi panchayat of Palakkad, and has stirred intense political debate.
