Girl Students of Ispat Nagari Meghnad Saha MS Vidyalaya Join NSPCL Summer Camp Under “Girl Empowerment Mission 2026”

Durgapur, May 22:
In a proud and inspiring moment for Ispat Nagari Meghnad Saha MS Vidyalaya, several girl students of the institution have been selected to participate in the “Girl Empowerment Mission 2026” summer camp organized by NSPCL Durgapur. The special empowerment programme aims to nurture confidence, leadership, education, discipline, and personality development among young girls.
As part of the initiative, the participating students will stay in a hostel facility during the duration of the summer camp, where they will undergo various educational, cultural, and motivational activities under expert guidance. The camp is scheduled to continue from May 22 to June 18, 2026.
The atmosphere at the school premises became emotional and joyful as students, parents, teachers, and local residents gathered to witness the departure of the young participants. An awareness vehicle carrying the banner of the “Girl Empowerment Mission 2026” arrived at the school campus, symbolizing a new journey of opportunity and self-development for the students.
Teachers of Ispat Nagari Meghnad Saha MS Vidyalaya expressed pride in the selected girls and stated that the programme would help them build self-confidence, communication skills, leadership qualities, and awareness about health, education, and social responsibilities. Guardians also appreciated NSPCL’s initiative for providing such an opportunity to children belonging to different social backgrounds.
According to organizers, the hostel-based summer camp will include sessions on education, digital learning, health and hygiene, sports, cultural activities, teamwork, and personality enhancement. The initiative has been designed to encourage girls to dream beyond limitations and become empowered individuals capable of contributing positively to society.
