Out of the afflicted students, 38 have been admitted to the hospital after experiencing persistent symptoms such as fever and vomiting. Health officials have confirmed that all hospitalized students are in stable condition, offering some reassurance amidst rising concerns among parents and the community. To ensure their health and safety, a special ward has been established at the local taluk hospital.

The district medical officer has urged the public not to panic, emphasizing that the health department is actively monitoring the situation. As a precautionary measure, the school has announced a week-long holiday, allowing time for a thorough investigation and cleaning of the premises. Authorities are hopeful that these steps will contain any potential spread of the illness.

The incident has sparked discussions among parents, educators, and health officials regarding the safety standards in schools and the importance of ensuring that children are not exposed to unsafe food and water sources.
