Delhi,March 12, IPU Media Jobs Update News Indian Navy under the command of Indian Army has issued a notification seeking online applications from eligible unmarried male and female candidates for filling up the vacancies for Agniveer SSR(Senior Secondary Recruit) 2027 January-February batch. Youth who have passed Inter or Polytechnic can apply. Interested candidates can apply online from March 14, 2026.

Candidates applying for these posts should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 with at least 50 percent marks with Mathematics and Physics as subjects. Or should have completed a three-year diploma course in any engineering discipline from any recognized Polytechnic with 50 percent marks. Candidates who have completed a two-year vocational course with Physics and Maths as subjects can apply. Age limit of candidates Candidates for January 2027 batch must have been born between December 1, 2004 and May 31, 2009. Candidates for February 2027 batch must have been born between May 1, 2005 and October 31, 2009. Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible to apply. Candidates should not get married during the training and four-year service period after selection. Those who have these qualifications can apply online till 5 pm on April 6, 2026. Everyone will have to pay Rs. 550 plus GST as application fee.

Selection process like this..
The entire selection process will be in two stages. Stage 1 INET (Indian Navy Entrance Test) exam will be conducted online in May 2026. It will have 100 questions from English, Science, Maths and General Awareness sections. There will be negative marking. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Those who qualify in this will be called for Physical Fitness Test (PFT) in Stage 2. This will be followed by medical examination and verification of certificates. Those selected will be given a salary of Rs. 30,000 per month with annual increment. After four years of service, a ‘Seva Nidhi’ package of about Rs. 10.04 lakhs along with interest will also be provided.
