LPG Supply Stable Nationwide as 55 Lakh Refills Delivered
The Ministry of Petroleum has assured citizens that LPG supply remains stable across India, with over 55 lakh refills successfully delivered in recent days. The government emphasized that there is no shortage of cooking gas and urged consumers to avoid panic booking.
In a significant development, two Indian LPG carriers, BW TYR and BW ELM, have safely navigated through the Gulf carrying a combined cargo of 94,000 metric tonnes. Both vessels are currently en route to Indian ports, further strengthening the country’s energy supply chain.
Officials stated that continuous monitoring and efficient logistics have ensured uninterrupted distribution, even amid global uncertainties. The arrival of these shipments is expected to bolster domestic availability and maintain smooth supply levels.
The ministry reiterated its commitment to ensuring energy security and appealed to the public to rely on official updates and refrain from spreading misinformation.
