Kundalwadi: On the occasion of Republic Day, a street play competition organized by the K. RamlU Former Municipal President Social Group in association with the Kundalwadi Municipal Council witnessed enthusiastic participation from students. In the secondary school category, the student team of Milind Vidyalaya, Kundalwadi secured the first prize for their street play titled “Contemporary Politics and the Challenges Before Democracy.”
Through their performance, the students effectively portrayed various aspects and realities of present-day politics. The play also highlighted the roles and responsibilities of the Election Commission and the Indian Constitution, which were thoughtfully presented by the young performers.
In the presence of the Municipal President, Deputy Municipal President, municipal council members, journalists, and a large gathering of citizens, the winning team was honored with a memento presented by the Honorable Municipal President.
The students were guided by their teachers Mrs. L. R. Telgane, Santosh Chandankar, Amardeep Dagde, and Satish Amberay. During the vote of thanks, Mr. Dagde stated that such social and cultural activities provide students with valuable opportunities to showcase their talents and therefore should be encouraged regularly.
The achievement of the school was widely appreciated and congratulated by the Headmasters of Milind Primary School and Milind Vidyalaya, along with the institution’s President, Directors, teaching and non-teaching staff, students, and parents.
