Mob Attacks Meghalaya Police Escort Team in Nuh; Case Registered

Nuh, Haryana: A case has been registered after a mob allegedly attacked a police escort team from Meghalaya in Nuh district of Haryana while they were transporting an accused linked to multiple ATM robbery cases.
According to police officials, the incident occurred near a village in Nuh when the team from the Meghalaya Police was escorting the accused after obtaining transit remand from a local court. A group of around 20–30 people reportedly surrounded the police vehicle, hurled stones, and attempted to free the suspect from custody.
During the confrontation, the mob allegedly tried to snatch the police team’s weapons and vehicle keys, creating a tense situation.
