BRS party leaders, activists, and farmers staged a protest on the road in front of the Ryalamadugu electrical substation in Nizampet Mandal. Raising slogans against the government, they demanded a regular supply of electricity for agriculture and an immediate resolution to frequent power-related issues.
Speaking on the occasion, the farmers expressed their concerns, stating that since the Congress government came to power, they have not been receiving adequate electricity for farming. They said interruptions in the power supply have made it difficult to protect crops that are ready for harvest. They described a situation of uncertainty regarding power availability, noting the difficulties they face in watering their crops. "Does the government not see the farmers' plight as their crops wither away?" they asked. They demanded that the government and local public representatives respond immediately to these issues. Expressing dissatisfaction with the local MLA's response, they stated that the government is failing to provide quality power and that it is the MLA's responsibility to bring these issues to the government's attention and seek a resolution. They urged the authorities to find a permanent solution to the problem during this difficult time. Further, they called upon the government to supply uninterrupted and quality electricity when needed to protect their crops, warning that they would intensify their agitation if the power issue is not resolved immediately. BRS leaders and farmers demanded that the government respond and take steps to provide reliable electricity to the farming community. They called for immediate action to resolve issues such as power cuts, voltage fluctuations, and supply interruptions in order to protect the farmers' crops. A large number of BRS party leaders, activists, and farmers participated in the protest to voice their grievances.
