A fire broke out in the meter cabin on the first floor of the 22-storey Alivn Tower located on Maulana Azad Road in Byculla on Thursday afternoon, triggering a swift emergency response from multiple agencies.

According to officials, the incident was reported at around 12:24 PM in the B-Wing of the ground-plus-22-storey residential building, situated opposite Nagori Nursing Home in the Madanpura area. The Mumbai Fire Brigade classified the blaze as an Level-1 (minor) fire and immediately launched firefighting operations.

Several emergency response teams, including the Mumbai Fire Brigade, Mumbai Police, BEST personnel, 108 Ambulance Services, and BMC ward staff, rushed to the spot to control the situation and ensure the safety of residents.

Authorities confirmed that no injuries or casualties have been reported so far. Firefighters worked to contain the blaze while taking precautionary measures to prevent it from spreading to other parts of the building.

The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and officials are expected to conduct a detailed investigation once the firefighting operation is completed.
