Guru Ganga Under Threat — Strong Voice Raised for Our Water, Land & Future!

A major “Save Guru Ganga” Consultation Meeting was held today at Soudha Kalyana Mantapa, Maniknagar, where serious concerns were raised over the growing impact of industrial pollution in the Humnabad Industrial Area

Chemical waste & polluted water from industrial activities are creating growing concern among people of Humnabad, Maniknagar, Gadwanti, Dhumansur, Molkera, Basantpur, Hudugi and surrounding villages.

The threat is not just to drinking water — it could impact farmland, livestock, water sources and the entire ecosystem.

EX Minister Shri Rajashekhar B. Patil shared his views and assured that the concerns raised in the meeting will be taken seriously. He said the matter will be discussed with District In-charge Minister Shri Eshwar Khandre and Karnataka Chief Minister Shri D. K. Shivakumar , with sincere efforts to find a solution to the problems caused by industrial activities.
