PEO Files Complaint at Mangalpur PS Against the BJP Krushak Morcha General Secretary; BJP Leader Alleges Irregularities in Flood Relief Distribution.

A written complaint has been lodged at Mangalpur Police Station by the Panchayat Extension Officer (PEO) of Kayan Gram Panchayat against the Jajpur District BJP Krushak Morcha General Secretary.

As per the complaint, the PEO has alleged that he was attacked / obstructed by the BJP leader during flood relief distribution work in Kayan Panchayat under Mangalpur block.

Reacting to the allegation, the Jajpur BJP Krushak Morcha General Secretary has denied the charge of attack and stated that he was only raising the genuine grievances of flood-affected people.

He alleged that there are large-scale irregularities in relief distribution in Kayan Panchayat and other flood-hit areas of Jajpur. The relief materials are not reaching the doorsteps of the actual flood-affected people, which has hurt the sentiments of the victims who are struggling for food, drinking water and shelter for last several days.

The administration should ensure transparent and door-to-door distribution of relief instead of filing false complaints to suppress the voice of people," the BJP Krushak Morcha General Secretary said.

He demanded an impartial inquiry into the relief distribution process and immediate delivery of relief to all affected families.

Meanwhile, Mangalpur police has received the written complaint and the matter is under enquiry.
