Visakhapatnam: BJP national president Nitin Nabin and national general secretary (organisation) B L Santhosh are scheduled to attend the three-day Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak being held in Andhra Pradesh from August 19 to 21.

The annual coordination meeting will be held at Gudilova in Visakhapatnam district and will bring together senior office-bearers of 32 organisations associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The participating organisations include the Bharatiya Janata Party, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Vishva Hindu Parishad, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and Rashtra Sevika Samiti.

According to the RSS, representatives will present information about their organisations' activities and exchange observations and suggestions on issues concerning public welfare and policy. The meeting will also focus on coordination and cooperation among the participating organisations.

Issues expected to be discussed include population imbalance, de-addiction, youth awareness, implementation of the Panch Parivartan initiative and the Bharatiya concept of development. Reports have also indicated that issues concerning Gen Z may be discussed.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale are also scheduled to attend the meeting along with other senior functionaries.

For the BJP, Nabin and Santhosh's participation places the party's national leadership within a wider coordination exercise involving organisations working across different areas of social life.

The three-day meeting begins on Wednesday and will continue through August 21.
