World Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day is celebrated every year on 10th October. It is an international day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy against social stigma. It was first celebrated in the year 1992 at the initiative of the World Federation for Mental Health, a global mental health organization with members and contacts in more than 150 countries.
World Mental Health Day is an annual event intended to increase awareness of mental disorders. The World Federation for Mental Health hopes that organizations around the world will organize events reflecting this theme while also supporting the world health organization's initiative on deinstuationalization.
Mental Health is the way we think and feel and our ability to deal with the ups and downs of life. We all have mental health, just as we all have physical health. When we enjoy good mental health, we have a sense of purpose and direction, the energy to do the things we want to do, and the ability to deal with the challenges that happen in our lives.
