Pakistan-Afghanistan Attacks Update News :: Pakistan Air Force Attacks Hospital in Afghanistan; 400 Dead

Kabul, March 17 – IPU International Update News: While the world is already reeling from the flames of the Iran-Israel conflict, another fierce bloodbath is now unfolding on Asian soil. Tensions have reached a breaking point along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border—a region that has been a hotbed of instability for decades. The loss of hundreds of lives in an airstrike on a hospital in Kabul has cast a grave shadow over humanity itself.

Just as the world struggles to cope with the prevailing war-like atmosphere involving Iran, Israel, and the United States, another battlefield has now erupted on the Asian continent. Tensions have escalated significantly between neighboring nations, Pakistan and Afghanistan. The Taliban government has announced that approximately 400 people were killed in an airstrike carried out by the Pakistan Air Force on a hospital in Kabul on Monday night a revelation that has sent shockwaves through the international community. According to details provided by Hamdullah Fitrat, Deputy Spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the Pakistani military launched a bombing raid specifically targeting a hospital associated with a drug rehabilitation center in Kabul. The Deputy Spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate stated that while 400 civilians perished in this attack, more than 250 others sustained injuries. The hospital building was completely destroyed by the impact of the bombing. He stated that rescue operations are still underway, as bodies remain trapped beneath the rubble.

** Pakistan Denies Afghanistan’s Allegations **

The government and military of Pakistan have rejected these grave allegations leveled by Afghanistan. Pakistani officials maintain that they targeted only terrorist hideouts and did not carry out any attacks on civilian areas or hospitals. Islamabad asserts that no civilian casualties occurred during the operations conducted in Kabul and eastern Afghanistan.

** Escalating Hostility Between Afghanistan and Pakistan! What Exactly Is Happening – ? **

A tense atmosphere has prevailed between these two nations since February 22. Under the pretext that terrorists are finding refuge in border regions, Pakistan has been continuously conducting airstrikes. This marks the second major attack launched against Afghanistan within a single week. The Taliban forces, too, have been launching retaliatory attacks against Pakistani military posts situated along the border. Due to this volatile situation—where tensions are so high that even a spark could ignite a blaze—thousands of residents are fleeing their villages along the border.

** If War Erupts on the Afghanistan Border, What Will Be Its Global Impact – ? **

Oil prices and global supply chains have already been disrupted by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. If a war were to break out now along the Afghanistan border, it would likely have a severe impact on the economies of South Asian nations. The Taliban are attempting to bring to the attention of the United Nations the fact that human rights violations are taking place.
