Rapper Reble Criticises IPL Event Mismanagement After Guwahati Performance

Rapper Reble has voiced strong criticism against event organisers following her performance at the Indian Premier League clash between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings in Guwahati on March 30.
Taking to Instagram shortly after the match, the artist described the show as her “worst performance ever,” citing serious technical issues and poor event coordination. Reble, who is known for her work on the Dhurandhar soundtrack, alleged that basic sound requirements were not properly arranged, severely impacting her performance on stage.
According to her statement, the situation worsened when her line check was abruptly cut short. Despite her team repeatedly urging organisers to cancel the performance due to unresolved technical problems, she was asked to proceed anyway.
“Technical issues happen, but this was not just that—this was mismanagement,” she wrote, expressing frustration over the handling of the event.
Reble emphasised that her focus has always been on delivering quality performances and staying true to her art. However, she said the lack of proper arrangements made it difficult for her to perform at her best.
In a sharp remark aimed at the organisers, she also criticised what she described as “corporate bs,” suggesting that such negligence undermines artists and their work. She added that she would prefer not to be invited again if similar conditions persist.
The incident has sparked conversations online about the importance of proper event management and technical preparedness, especially at high-profile platforms like the IPL, where performances are witnessed by millions.
