New Delhi, March 1, 2026:
Punjabi music star Karan Aujla’s February 28 concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium drew nearly 75,000 attendees but was overshadowed by serious allegations of mismanagement.
Several ticket holders reported being denied entry while thousands allegedly accessed the venue without valid passes. Frustration outside the stadium reportedly led to barricades being broken near the box office, with claims that VIP and general tickets were taken amid the chaos.
Inside, attendees described overcrowding and multiple fights across VIP, fan zone and general admission sections. Witnesses alleged a shortage of volunteers and trained security personnel, leaving altercations unchecked and raising concerns about crowd safety.
While the performance itself was praised by fans inside, the logistical failures have sparked widespread criticism. Many attendees are now demanding a public apology and explanation from the event organisers and the artist, along with clear corrective measures to prevent such incidents in future large-scale events.
