Etihad EY238/239 Operating on 2nd March Between Abu Dhabi and Bengaluru Amid Regional Flight Disruptions

Etihad Airways is operating flight EY238 from Abu Dhabi to Bengaluru on 2 March 2026, with an expected arrival at Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) at 10:00 PM IST. The return flight, EY239, will depart BLR for Abu Dhabi at 11:10 PM IST.

Passengers on the outbound sector to Abu Dhabi (EY239) should note that the flight will operate under certain restrictions. Travellers are advised to check with Etihad Airways or their booking agent for details regarding these restrictions before departure.

The flight is resuming after recent disruptions in the Middle East, when several countries temporarily closed their airspace following the outbreak of hostilities in the region. Many airlines had suspended flights to and from affected areas, leaving thousands of passengers stranded. Etihad’s operation today is among the early services being restored after these interruptions.

Etihad Airways connects Abu Dhabi with major cities across India, including Bengaluru, Delhi, and Hyderabad. Bengaluru, as a key business and technology hub, is an important destination for corporate travellers and tourists. The EY238/239 service provides a late-evening link between the UAE and southern India, restoring essential connectivity disrupted in recent days.

The airline has advised passengers to allow extra time for check-in and security procedures at BLR Airport due to operational restrictions on the outbound flight and to monitor flight updates closely, as boarding procedures or schedules may be adjusted.
