Iran’s Army Chief, Amir Hatami, has stated that the country remains prepared to respond to any security challenges, amid ongoing regional tensions involving the United States and Israel.
Speaking at a public address, Hatami said that Iran would continue to safeguard its sovereignty and national interests. He added that the country’s armed forces are ready to deal with evolving situations and ensure national security.
The army chief also referred to recent developments in the region, noting that despite external pressures, Iran’s internal stability has been maintained. He emphasized that the nation remains united during challenging times.
Commenting on the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, Hatami described disruptions in maritime movement as a serious concern and reiterated that Iran would respond to any actions affecting its strategic interests.
He further noted that diplomatic engagements have continued alongside security preparedness, highlighting the government’s efforts to manage the situation on multiple fronts.
