King Salman & Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia approves hosting of stranded GCC citizens at Saudi Airports.

RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman approved, upon the proposal of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the hosting of all stranded Gulf citizens at airports across the Kingdom.
The royal directive provides for receiving citizens of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries who are currently stranded in Saudi airports and ensuring that all necessary measures are taken to host and accommodate them.
Crown Prince affirms full solidarity with UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan.
The King instructed relevant authorities to facilitate all procedures required to welcome and honor them, and to provide every means of comfort and care until conditions are suitable for their safe return to their home countries.
He also directed all competent entities to immediately implement the necessary measures to carry out the decision.

People in India have expressed deep appreciation for the compassionate decision taken by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince. Many Indian families were concerned about relatives who had traveled to Saudi Arabia for Umrah during Ramadan and were left stranded at airports. This timely directive has to be extended to them as well so that it brought reassurance and relief to thousands of worried families. At a moment of uncertainty, the leadership’s swift action reflects both responsibility and humanity, offering comfort and dignity to pilgrims awaiting their safe return home.
