Aadhaar-based Automatic KYC temporarily unavailable on Indian Press Union website — Users may complete verification through Manual KYC for faster processing
Date: 31 January 2026
Issued by: Indian Press Union (IPU)
Indian Press Union (IPU) hereby issues this formal public notice to inform all members/applicants that the Aadhaar-based Automatic KYC facility on the IPU website/portal is currently temporarily disrupted due to technical reasons. As a result, certain users may experience failure or delay in completing KYC through the automatic mode.
In the interest of ensuring timely service delivery and avoiding inconvenience to users, IPU clarifies that affected users may immediately opt for the “Manual KYC” process, which remains valid and fully acceptable during this interim period.
