After several days of intense heat and humidity, people have finally got much-needed relief. The heavy rainfall on Saturday late evening completely changed the weather of the entire city.
According to the information received, the temperature had crossed 42 degrees for the last 4-5 days. Due to the scorching sun and hot winds, it had become difficult for people to step out of their homes. The roads used to wear a deserted look during the afternoon.
But yesterday evening, dark clouds suddenly gathered and it started raining with strong winds. This rain, which lasted for about an hour, completely ended the effect of the heat. After the rain, a drop of about 5 to 6 degrees in temperature has been recorded.
The rain has not only brought relief to the people from the heat, but has also brought smiles to the faces of farmers. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain the same for the next 2-3 days and there is a possibility of light rain
