Akhil Brahmin Samaj Yeola’s reorganization, including the election of the President, Working President and executive members, as well as the felicitation of members who have been honoured in various fields of society, was held with great enthusiasm at Asara Lawns, Yeola. Sanjay Sabnis, Sanjay Joshi, Balasaheb Deshmukh and Mangesh Paithankar, representatives of four major organisations of the taluka, were present on the platform.

Senior members Narayanarao Kshirsagar, Dilip Patil, Rajendra Devgaonkar, Shirish Nandurdikar, Suresh Joshi, Prof. Avinash Kulkarni, Kiran Kulkarni, etc. started the programme under the guidance of the chief guests. The lighting of the lamp and offering of garlands were performed by the chief guests. Advocate Gaurav Kulkarni explained the structure of the function.

After this, Akhil Brahmin Samaj Yeola was reorganised and the executive committee was elected from among the present members. Young businessman Yogesh Shul was elected as President, Mrs. Maya Tonpe as Vice President, Sagar Pathak (Rural Department), Dilip Patil as Executive President, Prasad Gubbi as Secretary, Arvind Joshi as Joint Secretary, Suhas Sabnis as Treasurer, Amit Patil as Sub-Treasurer, Shripad Joshi, Engr. Mangesh Paithankar, Anil Gosavi and Pradeep Dhumal as Executive Members.

Mrs. Swati Savargaonkar, Mrs. Smita Kulkarni and Mrs. Manali Shende were unanimously elected as women representatives. Senior members Narayanarao Kshirsagar, Dilip Patil, Prof. Chandrasekhar Joshi, Prof. Mrs. Rajshri Nandurdikar, etc. spoke about the society. The programme was introduced by Arvind Joshi and moderated by Prasad Gubbi.

The programme concluded with Pasaydan. A large number of community members were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the newly appointed President Yogesh Shul said that he thanked all the members of the society for electing him as the President of the society. He said that while working as President, various problems of the society would be addressed, keeping social welfare in mind.
