Drug-Free Campaign and Anti-Ragging Awareness Programme Held at Agricultural College, Babhulgaon

An awareness programme on drug-free living and anti-ragging was organised at the Agricultural College run by Jagdamba Education Society in Babhulgaon, Yeola. The programme included activities aimed at informing students about the risks associated with drug consumption and ragging.

Police Inspector Mandlik of Yeola City Police Station and Principal of SND Engineering College Dr. Patil were present as chief guests. During the programme, students were informed about the importance of maintaining a drug-free lifestyle and the physical, mental and social effects associated with drug consumption.

The students were also informed about the prohibition of ragging on college premises and the legal provisions applicable to ragging. The speakers appealed to students to maintain mutual respect, discipline and a sense of brotherhood on the campus.

As part of the programme, students took an oath to remain free from substance abuse and participated in anti-ragging awareness activities. They were also encouraged to avoid addictive substances and follow a healthy lifestyle.

Principal Dr. D. P. Kuldhar, Vice Principal Dr. S. D. Mhaske, faculty members, non-teaching staff and students were present. Teaching and non-teaching staff members contributed to the organisation of the programme.
