New Delhi, March 6,IPU Media News Update: From Delhi to West Bengal, the governors and lieutenant governors of nine states and union territories have changed. The Office of the President of India issued a key announcement to this effect on Thursday night. West Bengal Governor C.V. Anand Bose and Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Kavinder Gupta have resigned from their posts. Their resignations have been accepted by President Draupadi Murmu. Later, the President issued orders appointing Vinay Kumar Saxena as the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Shiv Pratap Shukla as the Governor of Telangana and Jishnu Dev Verma as the Governor of Maharashtra.

Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar has been transferred as the Governor of Tamil Nadu. Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Kavinder Gupta has been appointed as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh. Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena has been appointed as the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh. Taranjit Singh Sandhu has been appointed as the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi.
