Road Accident Near Office Area in Maheshtala Injures Two

A serious road accident occurred near the office area in Maheshtala, on Tuesday morning, causing panic among local residents and office-goers.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident took place around 1.42 P.M. when a speeding motorcycle collided with a cycle near the main road. The impact was so strong that the rider and pillion passenger were thrown onto the road.
Local people immediately rushed to help the injured victims. Traffic in the area was disrupted for nearly 30 minutes as vehicles slowed down due to congestion.
The injured were taken to a nearby hospital by local residents.. Their condition is reported to be stable.
Preliminary reports suggest that overspeeding and careless driving may have caused the accident. Authorities have urged drivers to follow traffic rules and avoid rash driving, especially during peak office hours.
Residents of Maheshtala have expressed concern over frequent accidents in the area and have requested stricter traffic monitoring and speed control measures.
