Pegadapalli, April 26:
BJP district spokesperson Marripelli Satyam on Saturday criticized remarks made by Telangana PCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud regarding the BJP’s political presence in the state.
Speaking to the media in Pegadapalli, Satyam said the BJP’s performance in recent elections reflects its growing support base. He referred to victories in constituencies such as Malkajgiri and Nizamabad, where BJP leaders Etela Rajender and Dharmapuri Arvind were elected as Members of Parliament.
He also mentioned electoral outcomes in other constituencies, including Kamareddy, stating that such results indicate voter support for the party.
During his address, Satyam questioned the Congress government over the implementation of its election promises, including the “six guarantees.” He said that these assurances, which were expected to be fulfilled within a stipulated timeframe, are yet to be fully implemented.
The BJP leader further expressed concerns about development and governance in the state, alleging delays in infrastructure and policy execution.
There was no immediate response from Congress leaders regarding these remarks.
