Bokakhat Branch of All India Marwari Women’s Conference Holds Oath-Taking Ceremony; Sneha Sangam Festival Celebrated

The oath-taking ceremony of the newly formed Bokakhat branch of the All India Marwari Women’s Conference was held on April 11 at a private hotel in Bokakhat town.
During the ceremony, Assam State President Anita Agarwal administered the oath to the newly elected executive committee for the upcoming term.
The new team includes President Reena Choudhury, Secretary Jyoti Parik, and Treasurer Sonu Choudhury, along with other office bearers and members, who pledged to uphold the principles and values of the organization.
Prior to the ceremony, an executive meeting was conducted in which Secretary Reena Choudhury presented a report on previous activities, while Treasurer Sonu Choudhury shared the financial report. Outgoing President Ajita Jalan expressed gratitude to all members for their support during her tenure and extended best wishes to the new committee.
Addressing the gathering, Anita Agarwal encouraged members to work collectively to further strengthen the organization.
The program began with prayers and chanting of ‘Omkar’. Alongside the ceremony, the Sneha Sangam Festival was also celebrated, with this year’s theme based on Bihu. The event featured a traditional Assamese “Gamosa” display competition, a quiz, and other cultural performances.
