To,
Subject: Request to consider the PG students with Health Care and Hospital Administration qualification for the (Non-Clinical) employment opportunities in Government Hospitals, Medical colleges, Basti Hospitals and Government Health Programs reg.
I am writing to you on behalf of the Telangana Healthcare and Hospital Administration Association to discuss the employment and utilization of qualified hospital administration professionals within our state’s healthcare system.
Currently, Telangana has approximately 21,000 graduates who hold a Master’s in Hospital Administration or an MBA in Health Management. The majority of these specialists are currently employed in administrative roles within the private sector, often at compensation levels that do not reflect their specialized training.
National Health Policy guidelines specify that non-clinical administrative posts at the district level should be filled by candidates with these dedicated management qualifications. While entities such as AIIMS, ESI, NHM, and SAIL—as well as states like Andhra Pradesh and Delhi—have already aligned their recruitment policies with these standards, Telangana has yet to implement these rules.
