Nalgonda, Telangana: Nalgonda Police have arrested four accused and remanded them to judicial custody in connection with the murder of four members of a family in Telangana Colony, Nalgonda.
Addressing the media, Nalgonda Superintendent of Police (SP) Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS, said the investigation revealed that the prime accused, along with his wife, a friend, and a jeweller, allegedly conspired to commit the crime due to a personal grudge, financial distress, and the intention to rob cash and gold ornaments.
According to the police, the case was solved within three days using CCTV footage, technical evidence, and scientific investigation methods.
Items Seized by Police:
- One Mahindra Marazzo car
- ₹30.04 lakh in cash
- Melted gold (approximately 5 tolas)
- One knife believed to have been used in the crime
- Three mobile phones
- Blood-stained clothes
- Land-related and bank documents
The SP appreciated the investigation team for its prompt and professional work and announced rewards for the officers and staff involved in solving the case.
Police said further investigation is underway, and additional legal proceedings will continue in accordance with the law.
