New Delhi: Air India and Bhutan’s national carrier Drukair have entered into an interline agreement aimed at strengthening air connectivity between India and Bhutan and providing passengers with more convenient travel options.
The strategic collaboration will allow travellers to book connecting flights across both airlines under a combined travel arrangement, making journeys smoother and more convenient. Passengers are also expected to benefit from simplified transfers and hassle-free baggage handling at Delhi airports.
The partnership will provide travellers with improved access to domestic and international destinations through the combined networks of Air India and Drukair.
“This collaboration marks an important step towards enhancing travel convenience and strengthening connectivity between India and Bhutan,” the initiative is expected to support growing travel demand between the two countries.
The agreement is also likely to promote tourism and cultural exchange while creating new opportunities for stronger business and economic ties between India and Bhutan.
With improved connectivity and easier flight transfers, the partnership is expected to offer greater flexibility and convenience to passengers travelling between key destinations in India and Bhutan.
