Assam Flood Situation Worsens as Heavy Rainfall and Rising River Levels Affect Thousands

Guwahati, Assam: Assam is facing a serious flood situation as heavy rainfall and flash floods continue to affect several parts of the state. Rising river levels, overflowing embankments and widespread inundation have disrupted normal life, while rescue and relief teams continue efforts to assist affected residents.

According to the latest available official reports, more than 6.5 lakh people have been affected by the floods across several districts.
