Banpur: A blood donation camp was organized at Divya Jyoti Bhawan, Prajapita Brahmakumari Elohimiya University, Banpur. Brahmakumari Sujata was the chief organizer of the program.

Young social worker and Banpur BJP youth organizer Devi Prasad Mishra attended the blood donation camp as the chief guest, while Banpur Block Birja Mandal President Jitendra Kumar Bhola and Dr. Kartartha Kishore Das attended as the guests of honor.

Despite the adverse weather, there was enthusiasm among the blood donors. A total of 18 units of blood were collected during the camp. Shri Bhola himself donated blood and encouraged others to donate blood as well. The blood collection was carried out with the help of Dr. Saurabh Sundar Roy, Arun Kumar Sahu, Anirudh Swain and Laxmipriya Pradhan from the Khordha District Blood Bank.

In this camp, the prominent blood donors were: Nazhav Das, Mamli Barik, Kartikeshwar Swain, Rashmita Das, Samal Das, Lingaraj Maharana, Mamata Acharya, Sasmita, Chittaranjan Paikaraya, Anil Kumar Subuddhi, Girija Shankar Sahabi, Sanjib Kumar Nayak, Mamata Mohanty, Niranjan Muduli, Sudhansu Shekhar Pradhan, Umashankar Samantray, Saurabh Mohanty and Jitendra Kumar Bhola.

Devi Prasad Mishra challenged the youth to spread the message of humanity and service to the society through noble deeds like blood donation.
