Concluding Ceremony Marks Successful Completion of Breast-Feeding Awareness Reel Making Competition
Community Awareness Programme
Bengaluru: The concluding ceremony of the community awareness programme was held with the participation of eminent dignitaries, academicians, healthcare professionals and representatives of Rotary and Inner Wheel.
The programme commenced with an invocation song by Smt. Dakshayani, First Lady, Rotary Bangalore Mahalakshmi Central, setting a graceful tone for the proceedings.

Smt. Sreelatha, President, Inner Wheel Club of Mahalakshmi Central, delivered the welcome address and extended greetings to the dignitaries, participants and guests.
The ceremonial inauguration and lighting of the lamp was performed by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Dr. Manmohan Singh University, along with other dignitaries. The ceremony symbolised the beginning of a meaningful initiative aimed at creating awareness and contributing to the well-being of the community.
The inaugural address was delivered by Prof. Ramesh B., Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, who highlighted the importance of education, awareness and collaborative efforts in addressing contemporary social and community needs.
A special guest lecture was delivered by Dr. Pallavi Sarji Utkarsh, Director, Dr. Utkarshas Esthetic Centre. She shared valuable insights with the participants and emphasised the importance of awareness, knowledge and responsible practices for a healthier and more informed society.
Prof. Govindegowda, NSS Coordinator and Dean, Bangalore City University, addressed the gathering and spoke about the role of educational institutions, students and community organisations in promoting social responsibility and meaningful community engagement.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Murali Subramanyam, President, Rotary Bangalore Mahalakshmi Central, who expressed his gratitude to the dignitaries, speakers, organisers, volunteers and participants for their valuable contribution towards the successful conduct of the programme.
The concluding ceremony reflected the spirit of collaboration between Rotary, Inner Wheel, educational institutions and community stakeholders, reaffirming their shared commitment to creating awareness and making a positive and lasting impact on society.
