Kolkata, 3 August 2026 — FOI Studios, a Kolkata-based handmade film-set studio and publisher of FOI Boudoir Magazine and FOI International Magazine, has announced the completion of eight years of operations from its Handmade Homes studio at 137 Narkeldanga Main Road, Kolkata.

Founded in 2017 by photographer and creative director Sourish Mukherjee, FOI Studios began as a single-room set with a vintage couch. Over the years, the company has expanded its operations to include a studio, magazines, a music label and a content distribution network, with a focus on D2C lingerie and fashion brands.

By the Numbers

According to the company, FOI Studios has produced more than 300 shoots, worked with over 400 verified models and created an archive of more than 300,000 frames and approximately 40TB of content since 2017.

Over the last 12 months, the company reports the following performance figures:

• YouTube: 22,851,890 lifetime views and 82,649 subscribers, according to company-provided analytics.
• Instagram: 1,364,332 views in the last 30 days and 384,603 accounts reached, according to the company's reported data.

Services Offered

FOI Studios states that it is ISO 9001:2015 and MSME registered. The studio offers photography and photography-plus-reels packages for lingerie, nightwear, resortwear and D2C fashion brands.

The photography packages include Editorial Test, Brand Builder and Scale Studio options, while photography-plus-reels packages include Campaign Starter, Growth Engine and Brand Domination options. Pricing varies depending on the number of products and services selected.

According to the company, its packages include verified models with identification and written consent, handmade film sets at Handmade Homes, fashion styling, cinematic lighting, photography, filming and editing. The company states that a 50% advance payment is required and delivery generally takes between seven and ten days, excluding applicable GST.

FOI Studios also states that selected campaigns may include original music from FOI Music, 4K behind-the-scenes films and distribution through its associated magazines and digital platforms.

Recent Projects

Sinderella Lingerie: The company reports that it worked on a luxury campaign in Kolkata during 2025–2026, involving multiple models and a collection of campaign photographs, a 4K behind-the-scenes film and an original soundtrack.

Snowra Lingerie: According to FOI Studios, its Project 98, released in July 2026 as part of the FOI Magazine monthly project, featured four models and 12 complete looks with intimate wear as a central styling element.

Statement from the Founder

Commenting on the studio's approach, Sourish Mukherjee, Founder and Photographer of FOI Studios, said, "I didn't want to shoot lingerie on a white background. I wanted to create a more cinematic and home-inspired visual experience using real sets, practical lighting and detailed photography."

He added that the studio's approach focuses on combining photography, storytelling and digital distribution to help brands present their products through campaign-based visual content.
