*Noida, September 13, 2026:*

An important residents’ meeting was held today at Great Value Sharanam Society, where detailed discussions were held on various irregularities, construction-related defects, deficiencies, and alleged wrongful actions by the builder that have persisted in the society for several years.

The following issues were of particular concern:

* The failure to permanently resolve long-pending civil and structural defects and deficiencies in the society.

* The builder’s failure to effectively address residents’ problems despite their continuous complaints.

* Allegations that the builder has repeatedly attempted to demolish structures already constructed within the society for its new project. Residents stated that each time, they have united and reached the site to stop such activities.

* Serious concern among residents that, despite submitting complaints supported by facts and evidence on several occasions, no FIR has ever been registered against the builder.

* Disputed and allegedly unjust orders passed by the Registrar concerning the AOA, which residents view as being influenced by the builder.

* Anger among residents over the FIR registered against the AOA, which they describe as wrongful action.

* Discontent over the Noida Authority’s failure to take effective action against the builder’s alleged encroachment on the green belt outside the society.

* Continued lack of concrete relief for residents despite repeated complaints and communication with authorities.

The residents present at the meeting unanimously decided that a solution could no longer be expected through complaints and correspondence alone. To draw the attention of the administration and concerned authorities, they resolved to adopt the path of an indefinite hunger strike through democratic and peaceful means.

*From September 19, 2026, AOA President Mr. Abhishek Mittal will begin an indefinite hunger strike.*

Other society residents will also join the hunger strike by turns to extend their support and put forward their demands firmly before the administration.

The residents also passed a resolution that, if necessary, and if timely and effective action is not taken on their legitimate demands, a democratic decision to boycott upcoming elections may also be considered.

The residents made it clear that this struggle is not against any particular individual but is for the safety, rights, transparency, and justice of the residents. They stated that when no effective action has been taken on their problems for years, they are now compelled to use a peaceful people’s movement to urge the administration to discharge its responsibilities.
