I AM DISCO DRANCER" WHO THE NAME THE NAME IS MITHUN CHAKRABORTY. HIS LIFE HOW HE STAGAL THIS POTION A SHORT STORY

There was a time when he had nowhere to call home. After arriving in Mumbai, he spent nights on the streets; he even had to clean office restrooms just for the privilege of using them. Early in his acting career, he once had to ask an interviewer for a meal. Yet, that very man is now Mithun Chakraborty, an icon of Indian cinema. Having won a National Award for his debut film and amassed immense wealth and numerous accolades over a long career, Mithun owns a sprawling bungalow on Mumbai’s Madh Island that feels like a world of its own. Spanning nearly one-and-a-half acres—or approximately 65,000 square feet—this property is far more than just a luxurious bungalow. Mithun and his wife purchased the house in 1985, a few months after the birth of their eldest son, Mimoh Chakraborty; the bungalow is named after him. Initially used as a holiday home, the family began living there permanently after returning to Mumbai in 2007 following a stint in Ooty. This vast, greenery-filled estate offers ample space for the family's twenty-two dogs. Mithun is passionate about gardening. His younger son, Namashi Chakraborty, reveals that although the actor's iconic yellow Beetle—his first car—is no longer roadworthy, he spends a significant amount on its maintenance. The bungalow has also hosted star-studded Diwali parties, welcoming guests of the stature of Dharmendra and Jeetendra. The house's most striking feature is its unique design. Instead of housing everyone under a single roof, separate cottages have been built for family members. Both his father and grandfather believed that every child should have their own private space. The cottages house a gym, a guest area, and the master bedroom for Mithun and his wife, while another has been converted into an office. The office interiors also showcase various memories from Mithun's long and illustrious career. One wall is adorned with photographs of awards and honors, alongside sketches drawn by fans. Another wall displays pictures of Mithun with prominent figures and actors such as Kannada legend Rajkumar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Bal Thackeray. Also on display are various awards from his long acting career, including a photograph capturing the moment he received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. From Mithun's days of struggle to his immense success today, this bungalow on Madh Island stands as a dazzling reflection of that long journey. Live a long life. I pray to God.
