The Islamic Welfare Organization today met Mr. Gaurav Sekriwar, IPS, outgoing Senior Superintendent of Police, Rajouri, and presented him with a tribute in recognition of his service and exemplary conduct.
Members of the organization praised Mr. Sekriwar for his courtesy, gentle temperament, sincerity and impeccable manners. Addressing the gathering, Shafqat Mir, President of the Islamic Welfare Organization, described Mr. Sekriwar as not only an outstanding police officer but also a noble and compassionate human being whose dedicated approach to public service earned widespread respect.
Syed Manzoor Bukhari noted that postings and transfers are an inherent part of government service, but qualities such as warmth of heart and genuine courtesy are rare among officials. He said these attributes distinguished Mr. Sekriwar and left a lasting impression on the community.
Maulana Muhammad Farooq Naqshbandi lauded the SSP’s exemplary conduct and offered prayers for his well‑being, expressing the hope that Allah grants him continued success and, if it is destined, an opportunity to return so he may again serve the people of Rajouri.
