Questions Raised Over Land Use and Population Growth in Kalchini-Hasimara Area

Alipurduar: Growing population and changing land-use patterns around railway lines, tea gardens and residential areas in Kalchini and Hasimara have raised concerns at the local level.

In several areas, residential and commercial activities can be seen around the railway corridor between Rajabhatkhawa and Hasimara.
