MES Builders Association of India Announces Nationwide Agitation from July 29

New Delhi, July 28, 2026: The MES Builders Association of India (Regd.) has announced a nationwide agitation beginning July 29, 2026, citing unresolved practical and policy-related issues faced by builders associated with the Military Engineer Services (MES) Department.

According to Association President G. S. Mago, the association has held several meetings with senior department officials and submitted written representations regarding the concerns of MES builders. The association claims that despite these efforts and assurances, no significant action has been taken to address the issues.

As the first phase of the proposed agitation, the association's branches across the country will submit memorandums to the respective Zonal Chief Engineers outlining the issues faced by builders.

The association also plans to hold press conferences to present its concerns before the media and bring the matter to the attention of the government and concerned authorities.

The association stated that if the department does not respond positively to its demands, its members may consider suspending work as a further course of action.

Honorary General Secretary Sandeep Srivastava said the association has prepared a phased programme to raise awareness about the issues faced by MES builders. He added that the association plans to intensify the agitation until its demands are addressed.

The association has appealed for the concerned authorities to consider the issues raised by its members and take appropriate steps to resolve them.
