JT Welfare Foundation Organises Student Appreciation Programme in Nagaon

Nagaon, Assam | July 28, 2026: In an initiative aimed at encouraging discipline and character-building among young learners, Mr. Toufiqur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of JT Welfare Foundation, visited Sufi Sultan Ahmed Academy in Nagaon on July 28, 2026. During the visit, students were appreciated and rewarded with chocolates for maintaining proper school uniforms and demonstrating discipline.

The appreciation programme was organised to recognise students who consistently follow the academy's uniform policy and demonstrate punctuality, respect and responsibility. The initiative was warmly received by students and teachers, creating a positive atmosphere on the campus.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Rahman congratulated the students for their commitment to discipline and encouraged them to maintain high standards of conduct both inside and outside the classroom. He emphasised that discipline plays an important role in academic achievement and personal development, and that cultivating good habits from an early age can help students grow into responsible citizens.

During his motivational address, Mr. Rahman also spoke about the importance of balancing education with moral and ethical values. While addressing Muslim students, he encouraged them to remain committed to their religious practices alongside their academic pursuits. He advised students to perform Namaz regularly and said that those who choose to do so, in accordance with their religious beliefs and family guidance, may observe hijab as part of their religious practice.

Teachers at the academy appreciated the initiative, noting that recognition programmes can motivate students to maintain discipline and encourage them to strive for excellence in academics and personal conduct. They observed that positive reinforcement through appreciation can contribute to a healthy and value-based educational environment.
