Teachers’ Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Jintur School
JINTUR, Sept. 5: Teachers’ Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Dr. Subhashchandra Rathi Balak Vidyamandir and Jijamata Vidyalaya, Jintur, on Saturday.
School Headmaster M. P. Kadam, senior teacher Vinod Pachpile and Sanjay Sable were present on the occasion. The programme commenced with the ceremonial worship of the portrait of former President and eminent educationist Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
Wall newspapers prepared by students, including Maharaj Shelke and Sambhaji Pohkar, were inaugurated by the dignitaries. Several students, including Vedika Sanap, Shravani Rokade, Madhura Jagtap, Rutuja Khelbade, Ankita Dukandar, Shreya Sanap and Aradhya Kure, delivered speeches highlighting the significance of Teachers’ Day and the invaluable role of teachers in society.
Addressing the students, Headmaster M. P. Kadam observed that a teacher's responsibility extends far beyond classroom instruction. Teachers, he said, play a vital role in shaping individuals and contributing to the reform and progress of society. He further emphasised that teachers, therefore, deserve due respect and recognition in society.
The programme was compered by Mrs. Pratibha Sable, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Preeti Bidve .Teachers and non-teaching staff of the school contributed to the successful organisation of the programme.
