Teachers' Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Green Bells Public School, Burhar

Burhar, 5 September 2026: Teachers' Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Green Bells Public School, Burhar. The school campus was decorated for the occasion to honour the contribution of teachers.

The programme began with floral tributes and garlanding of the portrait of Bharat Ratna Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birth anniversary is observed as Teachers' Day. This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Principal and senior teachers.

Students Present Cultural Programme

Students from different classes presented a cultural programme for their teachers. The programme included group songs, dance performances, poems, speeches in Hindi and English, and a skit highlighting the bond between teachers and students.

The performances were appreciated by the teachers and other members of the school community.

Students Express Gratitude

As a gesture of respect and appreciation, students presented handmade greeting cards, flowers and gifts to their teachers. They also expressed their gratitude for the guidance and support provided by their teachers.

Principal Addresses the Gathering

Addressing the gathering, the Principal appreciated the dedication and efforts of the teaching staff. He said that teachers play an important role in the education and overall development of students and encouraged students to always respect their teachers.

The celebration concluded with the felicitation of the teachers by the school management and a vote of thanks. The programme provided an opportunity for students and teachers to celebrate the importance of the teacher-student relationship.
