Maharajganj: Udhyog Vyapar Pratinidhi Mandal Uttar Pradesh Representatives’ Association held a review meeting with district office-bearers to discuss traders’ issues, their rights and the organisation’s upcoming activities.
Provincial President Lokesh Agrawal urged traders to remain aware of their rights, make proper use of the facilities available to them and stay vigilant against any form of exploitation.
During the meeting, Agrawal directed district office-bearers to give priority to traders’ interests and take their grievances seriously, ensuring that the issues are raised with the concerned authorities for appropriate resolution. Traders from different areas also presented their problems before the office-bearers. The provincial president assured them of all possible support and necessary action for resolving their grievances.
He said traders should be aware not only of their rights but also of the facilities and schemes made available to them by the government. He added that the organisation’s objective is to take traders’ problems to the appropriate forums and continuously work for the protection of their interests.
Provincial Vice Presidents Sudhir Agrahari and Jitendra Jaiswal, District President Phoolchand Agrawal, Treasurer Vivek Bhai Gupta, Youth District President Gautam Joshi, Sadar Nagar President Durgesh Gupta, Kolhui Nagar President Shri Ram Jaiswal, General Secretary Krishna Shankar Upadhyay, Youth Nagar President Kolhui Dev Agrahari, Vice President Abhishek Rauniyar, Ashok Tibdewal, Shravan Maddheshiya, Satish Maddheshiya, and journalists Vijay Barnwal and Shrichand Barnwal, among others, were present at the meeting.

*Trade Body Formed in Kushinagar and Pharenda*

During his visit, Provincial President Lokesh Agrawal also held meetings with traders in Kushinagar and Pharenda, where new trade body units were formed.
The meetings focused on traders’ problems, strengthening the organisation and bringing more traders into the association. Agrawal called upon the newly appointed office-bearers to work actively for the interests of traders, take their grievances to the appropriate forums and expand the organisation.
He said that unity among traders can help ensure that their problems are raised more effectively before the concerned officials and relevant forums.
