Grand Pallaki Seva and Panchamruta Abhishekam Mark Vidiya Festival at Surya Dhanvantari Temple

Jagtial, May 3: Special religious ceremonies were conducted with devotion and grandeur at the Sri Surya Dhanvantari Temple on Sunday, marking the auspicious occasion of Vidiya in the Shukla Paksha of the Vaishakha month.

On this occasion, Panchamruta Abhishekam was performed to Lord Surya Narayana Swamy, along with Usha and Chaya, drawing a large number of devotees. As Sunday is considered sacred to the Sun God, special prayers and rituals were organized, enhancing the spiritual fervor among attendees.

Following the rituals, a grand Pallaki Seva was आयोजित in honor of the deity, adding to the devotional atmosphere. Devotees actively participated and expressed their faith by offering prayers and fulfilling vows.

Later, Amruta Nirgundi Kashayam was distributed free of cost to devotees. Many also offered “Mudupu” (sacred offerings) to the deity as a mark of their devotion.

The కార్యక్రమం saw the participation of Founder & Chairman Dr. Vadlagatta Rajanna, Working President Vodnala Srinivas, Assistant Treasurer Vadlagatta Gopi-Swathi, General Secretary Vadlagatta Shankar, Joint Secretary Bharathala Rajasagar, Vadlakonda Archana, Chennuri Sridhar, Vemula Rajesh, temple priest Sri Hari, and others.

Devotees chanted “Om Suryaya Namah,” seeking the divine blessings of Lord Surya.
