Ankleshwar, April 2026: The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) conducted a raid at a spa facility near Mahavir Turning in Ankleshwar, leading to the arrest of the manager and the rescue of several women, officials said.

According to preliminary information, the raid was carried out based on specific intelligence inputs regarding suspected illegal activities at the premises. Authorities stated that the establishment was allegedly being used for unlawful purposes under the cover of spa services.

During the operation, officials detained the manager at the scene. Several women present at the location were taken into protective custody, and cash was reportedly seized as part of the investigation.

Police sources said that the owner of the establishment is currently absconding, and efforts are underway to trace and apprehend the individual.

A case has been registered under relevant legal provisions related to immoral trafficking and other applicable offences. Authorities are verifying the identities of those involved and examining potential links to wider trafficking networks.
