US Singer D4vd Pleads Not Guilty in Murder Case Involving Minor

Los Angeles, April 20, 2026: US singer D4vd has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges, including first-degree murder, in connection with the death of a minor whose remains were discovered in a vehicle registered to him.

The 21-year-old artist, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, was arrested last week in Hollywood following an investigation led by authorities in Los Angeles County.

According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, the charges include murder, alleged sexual offences involving a minor, and improper handling of a body. Prosecutors stated that the case is based on evidence presented before a grand jury.

The victim, identified as a teenage girl from Lake Elsinore, had previously been reported missing. Authorities confirmed that her remains were discovered in September 2025 after police responded to reports regarding a vehicle at a tow yard.

Officials stated that the cause of death has not yet been publicly confirmed, and a full coroner’s report is awaited.

During his initial court appearance, Burke’s legal team entered not guilty pleas on all charges. The court ordered that he remain in custody without bail as the case proceeds.

Prosecutors have outlined their allegations in court filings, while the defence has stated that the singer will contest the charges and maintain his innocence. Legal representatives emphasized that the case should be assessed based on evidence presented during trial proceedings.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the case, including timelines, evidence, and any potential involvement of additional individuals.

The case remains under judicial review, and no conclusions regarding guilt have been reached. Further hearings are expected in the coming weeks.
